What stays on your iPhone
Dreams, moods, optional profile answers and settings are stored only in the app’s private storage on your device. They are not uploaded to Somnia servers.
What we send to generate a reading
When you tap Analyze, the dream text, the mood you picked, your language, and any optional profile notes are sent to our language-model provider so Somnia can write a reading. We do not sell this text. We do not send your name to advertising networks.
Ads
Free journals may see an interstitial after a reading, never before analysis. Premium journals never see ads. Ad networks may receive a standard advertising identifier according to Apple’s rules.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. Somnia never sees your payment details. Restore Purchases asks Apple for the entitlement tied to your Apple ID.
Deleting your data
Settings → Delete all data removes every dream and your profile from this device. Uninstalling the app does the same. Apple manages subscription records separately.
Children
Somnia is not directed at children under 13, or under 16 where required by local law.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page is the latest version.
